It's the quality of the songwriting and the intimacy of their live shows that first strike you about The Lucky Wonders. A theme runs through their music that reflects the good fortune of those able to face their demons and live their dreams. Their home of Byron Bay is a place where lucky people flock to do both.
Winner of a Western Australian Music Industry Award, Jessie was an accomplished songwriter sworn off collaboration, because until recently her muse refused to speak in front of other people. Surprising herself, she found her songwriting soulmate in Emma. The two were thrown together to create live music for a puppet show in the Adelaide Fringe Festival. After eleven shows in eight days, The Lucky Wonders were born.
