BIOGRAPHY
It's commonly known that Melbourne can sport it's fair share of cold weather. A lot of kids tend to spend time in-doors rather than face the elements of winter. One day when the arctic winds were blowing up from the South ferociously, 6 friends emptied the change in their pockets and hired a warehouse in downtown Melbourne to shack up and get creative in. The result was 'ALPINE' a bright, colourful fusion of indie synth pop with dreamy, hypnotic rhythms, luscious harmonies and beats that actually wanted to make you dance. To date they have been likened to Phoenix, Lykke Li, The xx, Feist even a bit of early Inxs.
